TRANSTRONICA TAKEOVER
TRANSTRONICA grew out of Salon Queertronique, founded in Hamburg in 2017 with a simple but urgent idea: trans people shouldn't only be visible on the dancefloor. We belong behind the decks, on the stage, in the line-up and in the places where club culture is being shaped.
What began as a salon became TRANSTRONICA: a trans music festival, a meeting place and an ever-growing network of artists that has brought trans musicians, DJs and performers from different countries and generations together in Hamburg.
Before TRANSTRONICA returns with its next festival edition in 2027, we're taking over SLOT for one night.
And when we say takeover, we mean it.
La Carpio, Diwita, Malaz, Saeleen Bouvar, DJ Schmeisser, DSGNRPSY and Nikita come together for a night that puts Hamburg's trans club scene where it belongs: at the centre.
Seven artists. One night. One trans dancefloor.
And quite possibly a constellation you won't see again in Hamburg anytime soon.
But TRANSTRONICA has never only been about creating a stage for those who are already there. A culture survives because knowledge is passed on.
For this takeover, that becomes part of the night itself. Over the past weeks, Saeleen Bouvar has been working with Diwita and Malaz, sharing more than the technical basics of DJing: how to build a set as a narrative, how to create tension and release, how to make transitions matter and how to listen to a dancefloor.
At SLOT, they will take that knowledge into the booth and play their first club sets.
Not to become copies. Not to reproduce what came before.
Learn the craft. Inherit the knowledge. Find your own language.
Because making space for a new generation doesn't begin with giving them a slot. It begins before that, with sharing what we know, opening the booth and trusting them with what comes next.
Consider this a first transmission.
TRANSTRONICA returns in 2027.
Be there or be cis.
UNDERGROUND ASSISTANCE spans the full spectrum of bass-driven club culture. uk garage, jungle, breakbeat, dubstep, grime, footwork and experimental sounds come together over deep bass, driving rhythms and a strong soundsystem focus. the nights are about energy, precision and pushing the music forward.
BREAKA
since 2016, BREAKA has championed the sound of uk breaks, bass, funky and techno. he started djing while living in leeds, cutting his teeth on footwork, garage, juke and dub at clubs and house parties. his production breakthrough came in 2018 with the rory's theme / puffer jackets ep on holding hands records, and in 2019 he launched breaka recordings as a home for the full spectrum of his sound. touring globally since 2021 and fresh off his widely-celebrated debut album we move, BREAKA's sets embody the versatility, range and vibrancy of the uk underground — an artist unafraid to explore, experiment and push boundaries.
FACH6 (Live)
FACH6 operates somewhere around 165 bpm — footwork, jungle, trance, donk. a live, hardware-driven performance.
NASSSTYA
with a strong passion and love for sub driven music and heavy basslines, she's become a steady part of the northern bass front. her musical aspiration is to break with the stale construct of subgenre boundaries by celebrating a multifarious bass music culture, making more room for a diverse, safe & inclusive space — not only behind the decks, but also over the speakers and on the dancefloors. especially her uptempo selections are fuelled by various styles and influences, always blending in some footwork, halftime & ravy jungle treats.
ASSISTANT DJ
resident and host at SLOT, moving between jungle, heavy basslines and idm-leaning textures.
UNDERGROUND ASSISTANCE is a hamburg-based party series at SLOT – a collectively run, non-profit space for raves, gigs, art and cultural exchange.
the series provides space for independent and emerging artists, connecting local crews with international talent. it acts as a platform for community, shared experience and self-organised culture. the dancefloor is open and respectful, while the music remains bold and uncompromising.
UNDERGROUND ASSISTANCE treats club culture as a collective practice – a place for musical exploration, social connection and self-made counterculture.
We are so back! Festival summer is officially over and we’re happy to announce our 3rd edition at wonderful @slotkeller on Halloween night. Expect scary soundscapes, crawling critters and magical mysteries on the dancefloor.
We’re super happy to host @marinamason aka SCRAIC’s hamburg debut, the Irish sound design student has her very own experimental approach to creating hectic, yet blissful atmospheres somewhere in the realm between tribal tekno and psychedelic sound therapy. We’re so glad to have her and show us her repertoire of sonic specialities.
Our second guest is @Laetizia, the hamburg based producer will have her first solo album releasing on 22nd October on @iorecords and is a great creator and selector of deep low end and percussion-heavy tunes. She never fails to create genre-bending, immersive experiences reaching from dubby spheres to hypnotic hyperpercs. We’re looking forward to hearing her new album and are excited for what she will pull out of her bag of tricks.
First support from the GRIM team will be @custom_css. Her range is huge, varying from downtempo to hardcore with a heart for the experimental side of things. We’re curious what sounds she collected during her summer adventures and we‘re sure she will surprise us with a bouquet of complex grooves and hard kicks.
Last but not least we will have @gnarl, one of the creators of GRIM, presenting his latest finds and gems, pushing tension and energy just to comfort you with dreaminess in the next move. We’re eager to listen how he shoves us from meditative states into raging rumbles.
Come spooky dressed or not. We‘re here for the sound.

“I’m not a queen, I’m a goddess.”

SLOT is a space. A room to escape everyday life. A place to discuss society, shape the future, connect to likeminded people. SLOT is what we want it to be.
Operated by a collective of 14 enthusiastic activists. Supported by many loyal friends.
Nice people only policy
Respect the space. Respect each other. SLOT Collective is a community of dedicated people shaping this space with passion and care. As a non-profit, member-driven initiative, rooted in collective effort. Whether you’re a guest, promoter, DJ, or band: be nice!
All incoming money in turn goes out to support political/cultural projects, initiatives and struggles
C.R.E.A.M
Running a club is expensive. All the funds we raise are reinvested. We aim to provide all guests an outstanding experience. At the same time we keep prices as low as possible. Additionally we support crews promoting events at slot and donate to political and cultural projects.
Network
SLOT is located in the basement of fux. The former military building in the heart of Altona, is today a cooperative space used by more than 250 members. We are happy to be part of this incredible network. Without the support of many helping hands, trust and support, a project like SLOT would be impossible.
When you are around, say hello to our neighbours at cantina fux & ganz, ASMARAS WORLD or frappant galerie / kachelraum. Check out dokumentarfilmwoche hamburg and Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg as well the educational offering from Dock Europe.
The struggle is real
