SLOT is a space. A room to escape everyday life. A place to discuss society, shape the future, connect to likeminded people. SLOT is what we want it to be.

Operated by a collective of 14 enthusiastic activists. Supported by many loyal friends. Visited by thousands of awesome guests.

Respect the space. Respect each other. SLOT Collective is a community of dedicated people shaping this space with passion and care. As a non-profit, member-driven initiative, rooted in collective effort. Whether you’re a guest, promoter, DJ, or band: be nice!

C.R.E.A.M

Running a club is expensive. All the funds we raise are reinvested. We aim to provide all guests an outstanding experience. At the same time we keep prices as low as possible. Additionally we support crews promoting events at slot and donate to political and cultural projects.

Network

SLOT is located in the basement of fux. The former military building in the heart of Altona, is today a cooperative space used by more than 250 members. We are happy to be part of this incredible network. Without the support of many helping hands, trust and support, a project like SLOT would be impossible.

Sounds cool? It is! Running a club and providing such a space is a lot of fun - and a lot of work. Clubs are facing increasing challenges, yet we choose to keep going. Clubs are an essential part of urban culture - and can offer safer spaces for marginalized groups and subcultures.

SLOT is committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or any other characteristic. Please treat others with respect and dignity. Discriminatory behavior, harassment, violence, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.

While we aim to create a discrimination-free space, we cannot guarantee it. We ask all attendees to be mindful of this and to contribute to a respectful atmosphere.

If you feel unsafe or witness any issues, please contact our door crew or staff immediately.

Accessibility

Due to its basement location, SLOT is not fully wheelchair accessible. We are continuously working to improve accessibility. We do not provide an elevator or wheelchair accessible toilets.

SLOT is also a loud place. Sometimes dark, foggy and with strobe lights.

Photography and video recordings are strictly prohibited to protect everyone's privacy.
